The importance of a pressure release can't be understated.

This one didn’t want to be photographed yesterday! Sometimes she keeps to herself, but then sometimes she comes out and yaps your ear off.

She begs for food, slaps her water all over, leaves hair everywhere, just a real nuisance sometimes… but she’s always there waiting for me when I get home.

The sleepy wren that’s been snoozing under the patio cover lately! The platform is an old soap dish I screwed in up there because it was just barely perching on that little metal edge before.

Back home! She can’t eat until tomorrow because of the stitches in her mouth, but aside from being hungry, I bet she feels a lot better. Didn’t even complain about the carrier like she usually does!

Last of my new kit arrived today! So far I only broke out the snare since I still need time to make space for the full rack, but I can tell I’m gonna love the sounds I can make with this thing!
