It's like me working with some of my students. Don't mind me, I'm just going to keep greeting you with a smile and keep teaching.

Pro tip: When addressing pro-Trump teachers, talk about the issues facing students as perception versus reality. "The perception amongst some students is -----. I'm not here to address if that's reality or not, but that perception is affecting students."

Multilingualism is like a kaleidoscope, vibrant, dynamic, ever-changing, and forever transforming into something new and beautiful.

My Spanish-speaking students are having me say these words in revenge for teaching them English phonics/pronunciation.

Today, a student told me she had a dentist appointment at 2:30. Without missing a beat, I said, "Do you mean tooth hurty?" I've never been so proud to cause a student to roll their eyes.
