I do hope you are right. I have been following climate science since I finished uni in 1990 when I still lived in Germany, and I agree, we definitely need a lot of change if we want to change the trajectory. The attached screenshot is from a more recent source.

Sadly enough it seems that renewables cover mostly the increase in overall energy consumption. They don't really cut into the fossil fuel use.

Thank you so much for sharing this. 'Love' seems to be especially under-represented in academia. If we wouldn't love, we wouldn't grieve and fight to protect what is under threat. I am looking forward to following your explorations.
