Alright! So what will we do, might you ask?

Our lab will study the neural control of breathing and mechanisms that govern adaptive learning states to aid in the recovery of neuromuscular control after injury or disease. And, we care about training the next generation! 👩‍🎓👩‍🔬

Endless gratitude to the incredible mentors, past and present, who’ve cheered me on, challenged me and shaped the scientist I am today. Your guidance has meant the world. I’m so excited to pay it forward and help spark curiosity in the next generation of thinkers and doers! 🙏

I will also be joining the amazing team at the Belford Center for Spinal Cord Injury. I started my scientific journey in this field ~15 yrs ago as a starry-eyed undergrad. It is an absolute honor to now lead my own group and to be able to work alongside giants in the field.
