This was from Gabriel Applebaum's excellent talk about batters eyes at different MLB parks. Great research and follow-up in speaking with opthalmologists and experts in visual perception.

Winding up, the presenters come up with a way to recommend changes to hitters' swings and determine how valuable those changes will be. Really neat quantitative approach to player development.

Interesting (and intuitive) inverse relationship between power and contact with swings. You can have one or the other, but notably, power is overall much more valuable than contact.
