Watching the markets not completely collapse under Trump’s erratic management leads me to believe the narrative of “predictable,” “stable,” and “limited change” has just been BS reserved for Democratic administrations.

Just felt like stating the obvious.

Many speculate that Musk has enormous control over Trump.

He may. He’s certainly paid to get control.

But with Musk’s fortune tied to the government purse and Tesla stock. And Trumps betrayals of past allies. I think Musk is vulnerable to Trump’s whims.

Thoughts?

With all the horrible economic news, the near certainty that the GDP and jobs numbers will be bad, consumer confidence on the decline, how does this make sense?

If a dem is in office and the news isn’t “good enough” the markets decline. WTF?

Yep! But what underserved segment of our population? 🤔

I know … Buffoon!

Historically, our sensitivity national defense leadership has not hired enough buffoons!
This is a DEI hire, by the way.

The fundamentals of Tesla never warranted its share price. Now, with so much damage done to the brand and the bad news, the stock creeps up this week. 🤔

It’s not based on value, never has been. The promise has never been delivered. It’s a cult or a scam.

Prove I’m wrong.

Since Trump and his boss Musk are making cuts without getting new law drafted. I assume the actual budget doesn’t change.

Which then means we’ll still run deficits but provide no benefit?

Of course, we’re in a post-constitutional order - so who knows what it really means now.

Can’t emphasize this enough: if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the debased assault on our country, the antidote is connecting with other people in the flesh who are feeling the same way. There are millions of us.

Fetterman is trying to sound principled - but it’s not. Sure, shutdowns suck, but Republicans cave quickly because they always get the blame. The workers return, pay resumes.

He’s either the worst negotiator, lacks courage, is a fool, or complicit.

He’s certainly not part of the solution.
My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

If there were ever times like these during Biden’s presidency, my MAGA friends would be posting 💩 about their 401K and socialism. Even when there was a quick rebound, or it had nothing to do with policy.

This has everything to do with Trump and policy and MAGA is silent.
