It really is weird how they've done NOTHING with this feature. We should get new commentators for free every few patches. Or seasonal themed takes by the Street Fighters themselves.

Annette worked for me as a focus because her walk was in antithesis to everyone's.

Maria gets corrupted w/spirits while she's getting closer. Other religions are vilified while she learning to walk with hers. Richter runs from his past while she embraces hers. It balanced their cynicism.

I liked how much traction they got out of their fleshed out "original" takes. Trevor and Alucard got so unfunny & meh in the first series.

Whereas here, Annette & Drolta made Maria, Richter + Juste get JUST the right ammount time to not fully destroy their stronger traits in "funny" banter.

I like the combat pacing here. FPS isn't my fave genre, but this one looks so CHUNKY & has a nice focus on melee and satisfying damage.

The other recent Dooms I LIKE. But I could LOVE this one. So feature rich, yet it all seems fleshed out too.

Honestly feel unique, even if classic RPG inspired. Seeing the devs makes the youthful, thin-bodied characters make more sense to me! It's like a cast of people they could all hang out with too.

Ambitious but with lots of potential. Looking forward to trying it out. A Demo would be nice!

The action and folklore look pretty nice! I don't know if the clay animation inspiration 100% feels realized in streams; It comes off as a "choppy framerate" at times.

But I hope this doesn't hold it back! It looks atmospheric and unique. And with solid production value.

The sparse environments look good for the action gameplay. Rail grinds and dangerous descents just scream "GAMING!" to me in a great way too.

The dual protags also have me intrigued. Though I'll still hope for Ayane to pop up somewhere too...

All in all, a very nice surprise! HAYABUSA RETURNS!

In all reality, I would hope they'd hold off on Geese (even if a nightmare or such) until later seasons.

Let a new boss mean something first. Much like Kain and Grant did.

Hope the stage just means something narratively for now.

Will be interesting to see if the US gets something similar. Heck, we haven't seen such for Japan yet either, have we?

I think his moveset is fun, and I love that they used the patches to sus-out what makes him tick. I felt like the same happened with Ash in 2003~13 too.

The only think I personally "hate" about him is that I'd rather have Tung Fu Ru! 😭 It's nice he got a new disciple though.

Honestly, I think they could lean into the 2 hands to make 2 varied sides to him. Not that he shouldn't seek Harmony, but the west is seemingly SO "off" on his design.

Give him a more balanced "Leveled aggressive!" side that channels a KDrama lead's confidence, and he'd gain complexity & love.

I'd love it if it where something like a proper Parasite Eve Remake/Sequel.
