My very many times great grandmother, Maria, was born in August of 1804 at Ylivieska, Finland.

She had two brothers, Johannes and Jaakko, and three sisters: Greta, Lisa and Anna-Kaisa.

In 1809, during the Finnish war, their father died to dysentery.

1866 Johan Petter died. His wife, Anna Madleena, remarried a few years later.

While she remarried, she left two sons, Johan and Wilhelm, apparently on their own.

At ages of 12 and 7 the boys can be found listed as servants.
