Indeed. They're doing it again in the Maine Senate race. A progressive gets energy and Schumer pushes an 80 yo establishment pol to get into the race.

There's one aspect you forgot. Whenever a real progressive energizes people - Bernie, AOC, Mamdani - establishment Dems do everything they can to sabotage, minimize and eradicate this energy.

And (not the least bit surprisingly to anyone who has the remotest understanding of history), CPB's appeasement of Dear Leader did not save it from fascist rage and its eventual demise.

So the CPB tried to appease Dear Leader and it didn't end up saving them in the end? I am shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you.
