Finished a Dollarstore paint by numbers. Every pigment was shitty in a different way. None of the stuff that was paint-like was opaque enough to cover numbers. I had to mix my own paint for some. Some sense of perversity made me finish it. I'm going to over paint it to see if I can fix it.

Spent two hours polishing my copper #teapot . Still have verdigris on the inside including the spout. Even though its seen some things I'd like to use it one day. Tips? So shiny!

#glutenfree just ate at MacTini and gf mac & cheese restaurant. I did a flight of 3 different kinds and I'm so full I could die. We met the owner and he was super nice.

I love these flowers that my kids got me. But I don't know what they are. I think the pink are petunias.

I like to use watercolour paper for scrolls sometimes. I got Mont Marte water colour pad 300 gsm acid free at Lens Mills and its delightful, especially for a cheaper paper. It absorbed the watercolor without buckling or bubbling and the liner went on smoothly.

used 1 #zucchini in 2 zucchini cakes, but picked 2 more from garden. I can't keep up. I also picked the last of the rhubarb and made 2 cakes that are to die for. Picked 2 cups of raspberries and 2 cucumbers. All I eat is cake now. cucumber cake recipe?

Did my first paint night. Acrylic is not oil paint but having a bartender (Piquette Zero is great!) @isobel-art.bsky.social was a great teacher.
