Then again, depending on the playstyle, it never IS quite the same game. (I noticed there are basically two categories of Hades 2 players - those like me who feel save with MANY Death Defiances also hardly ever needing them and those forgoing them in favor of the Strength arcana card xD)

(especially useful on high fear runs when you choose stuff like wards for enemies)

As for, 'build' is used in the community on how you choose your boons and curses to get the most out of it. Like, if I get a boon of Hestia for my cast (A button), I try to choose my next boons I get from her that make her effect (scorch) stronger an faster, literally melting my enemies HPs /D

Are you playing in German? Bc boons is what they the glowing god orbs are commonly called ingame, and also simultaneously the favors the gods bestow on you? The stats are simply the victory screens after completing a run? /D

...unless I can create a build around Heph's or Hestia's aspect, that's equally nightmarish for my enemies.

Doing several Surface runs in a row and the whole chitonic family is giving me flack about where I've been that long the first time I'm doing a Underworld run again, lol

(of course I still have my own two cats and the girls ARE a great source of comfort, but they can only do so much when you have to function for 8 working hours and then a bit more)

(As of now, I'm not trying to think how awfully he must do emotionally rn, being pulled from everything and everyone he knew by a woman that he hardly knew anymore as the hardly cared for him for the greater remainder of this year...)

Sadly, yes, sent you a whole 4 minute rant on WA, I fear for his emotional and physical well-being as she neglected him the whole summer (was away for days at her new lovers house) and can only hope he either runs away or is brought back bc he makes enough trouble to drive them crazy.

Neighbor took him with her before I even had a chance to talk. And mark my words, I will give it a week until the news make round that he vanished. I hope he makes back that 20km in one piece.

Playstyle in both Hades Games so far:
Step 1 - ignore casts entirely for the first few runs and fail miserably
Step 2 - reluctantly accept that you need them
Step 3 - gid gud with casts
Step 4 - make them an absolute nightmare for your enemies (Circe's aspect is so fun!)
Step 5 - SUCCESS

OMG they released the patch AHHHHHH (good thing that I have only about 5 to 7 runs in total post epilouge down my belt and won't be loosing too much story progress)
