I'm on the pavement, thinking 'bout the government

I'd imagine it's top of his Clacton constituents list of concerns

As if any British government would ever answer that question

Paid for by increasing standing charge on our bills they said on the radio

That's quite an unscheduled disassembly !! Congrats

I should say there's no natural Labour area in the Constituency. Labour vote was high to kick out the Tory last July. Labour votes more likely to go Lib Dem next vote, if not Reform

I lived there many years. Now I live next to it. I don't want to live next to a Reform MP. Think of what it will do to my house price!!

I am pretty straight down the middle, happened to vote Labour last July. Broadly agree with the need to lower immigration from recent highs, don't agree with the language he used

Is this just because no one will admit to knowing, let alone liking, him?

don't post this racist shyte on my post. are you seriously trying to suggest that 728,000 people who moved to the UK last year are all poor, unskilled, and live in tents/sheds? I suppose you're going to tell me they're all eating the cats and dogs of the people who live here?

I thought it smelt like the farmers were spraying the fields again

What is Reform's cunning master"plan" to "stop the boats"? Has anyone pressed them on it?

In the midst of a housing crisis where people struggle to rent let alone buy, it's not unreasonable to question whether adding hundreds of thousands to the population might not be the best idea
May 12, 2025 at 11:32 AM
Do a poll, see if the population disagrees

I guess econ7 tariffs now just used for car charging
March 10, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Our house has an econ7 2 rate elec meter for no obvious reason as we have gas central heating and I found it cheaper to switch to a single rate elec tariff as econ7 tariffs have more expensive day price and standing charge

Because oil tankers and cargo ships well known for being difficult to spot!

One would think you're not going to get a better excuse to break your self imposed fiscal rules than to fund the defence of the realm so why don't they just do that
March 10, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Well done Court of Appeal 👍
March 10, 2025 at 11:56 AM
And what's the disapproval stats for Yougov polling?
January 28, 2025 at 3:14 PM
The truth is they're making sure people can't really cut the cost of their energy bills by continually raising the standing charges. Must maintain profits!!!
January 14, 2025 at 1:45 PM
If over 65s not really voting labour anyway then may as well get rid of pension triple lock
January 14, 2025 at 11:32 AM
They seem to be filling their Personal Finance section off the back of your work . . .
