The entire point of early console gaming was the social aspect. Getting your mates round for a sleepover and playing endless games of multiplayer together. PCs couldn’t do that.

The A license was ridiculous. I think you had to get round Laguna Seca without going off track in a super GT car. Fucking corkscrew was nearly impossible.

The original GT you had to get your license before you could race. It would take forever.
