They just passed a rule that beginning November 1st SNAP benefit recipients must work 80 hours a month.

Congress hasn't done that much in three months, but they have six-figure salaries, health insurance, and lifetime benefits.

Shoulda been born rich, you lazy fucks!🙄
Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 84th day out of the last 96.

12 days of work in over 3 months.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

My “co-pay“ is $90 for a dr appointment where a Dr just has to look at a spot on my face, and my monthly premium is $700+ so what exactly is the point of that huge monthly expense?

We need #SinglePayer #CalCare now!

The status quo is just designed to kill us as expensively as possible.

I spoke on a First Amendment panel at a law school earlier this week. One thing I emphasized is that there is widespread and astonishing ignorance of basic First Amendment law by a huge number of local officials who have arrest and citation authority, many of whom don’t know what obscenity is.

The Case for the Forever Shutdown
Senate Democrats actually allowing the GOP to stop funding the government is only the first step. Now they have to make the case that Trump’s government is illegitimate.
