Bithumb’s market share in South Korea jumped from single digits in 2023 to a 36% peak in Jan 2024, per Kaiko. A big driver? Marketing spend soared from ₩16B to ₩192B, boosted by a zero-fee trading promo. It now handles ~25% of the country’s crypto volumes.
