Do it! My 4003S was from ebay. Try one first, some don't like the neck thickness. Note 4003 inlays/binding , Ric-O-Sound vs 4003S. Both now have push/pull pot for vintage treble circuit . I leave this on, and use neck p/u for bassier. P/u cover was in my way, removed. Discontinued color.
