I recently bought some hand spun alpaca/wool yarn (this one also has angora rabbit!) and immediately started knitting up this hat. This is after blocking and I’m in love. 🥰 I didn’t take a before picture, but blocking did so much for this hat!

I have a family member that continuously refuses a boundary I’ve been trying to set with them, and it’s making me so upset. They keep asking if I want things, but I keep expressing that I don’t want ANYTHING because I’m already stressed out with clutter and trying to get rid of things.

All I want is a house so I can have my grandma’s piano that I so desperately want to keep, but each year that dream feels more and more impossible. I could never play as beautifully as her, but I have too many memories to let that piano go to anyone else. 😭

My aunt has posted my grandma’s car for sale and seeing it empty and ready for a new owner hurt more than I thought it would. 😞

On top of all of the stressful stuff that happened yesterday, in the evening I broke my the nail on my pointer finger a 16th of an inch down into the quick and it HURTS. I don’t currently have a bandage on it to let it breathe and I’m hitting it on EVERYTHING. 😭😭😭

Oh my god today has been STRESSFUL.
My dad met me at work to help clean the corrosion off my battery in case that would help anything. He just didn’t want me driving without trying that first. Fair. So he follows me home and all is fine until we get not even a mile from home, barely into town. 1/5

While driving to work this morning I noticed my headlights would keep dimming, and eventually my battery light came on. At 4:30am it was a little scary, ngl. I’ll fucking cry if it’s my alternator. I think I change my battery around 4 years ago and I’d rather have to buy that than an alternator.

I really wish I wasn’t as emotionally sensitive as I am. :( My therapist really tries to help me feel better about it, but it’s one of my least favorite things about myself. I just end up getting hurt all the time and it’s hard for me to work through.

I’ve been DYING to use some angora rabbit yarn and I finally bought myself an affordable hank of an angora/wool/alpaca blend. 🥰 I would still like to eventually get 100% angora or a much higher percentage angora yarn someday, but this is a start. I’m so excited to feel the yarn when it gets here!

Just got to Staples to drop off a customer order and there’s a MASSIVE line at customer service. I wish they just had a drop box for UPS so I didn’t have to wait with everyone with their Amazon returns. 🙃 This is actually going to take forever.
