Text of California Prop 50 new maps - YES vote is temporary despite all the dipshits reporting this is a Gerrymandering war: AUTHORIZES TEMPORARY CHANGES TO CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT MAPS IN RESPONSE TO TEXAS' PARTISAN REDISTRICTING. LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. In response to Texas' mid-decade partisan congressional redistricting, this measure temporarily requires new congressional district maps, as passed by the Legislature in August 2025, to be used in California's congressional elections through 2030. Retains California's independent Citizens Redistricting Commission and directs the Commission to resume enacting congressional district maps in 2031 after the 2030 census and every ten years thereafter. Establishes state policy supporting use of fair, independent, and nonpartisan redistricting commissions nationwide.

this is horrific, a pet is not food...and I say this as a pet mom to domestic bunnies, my bunnies are my heart, not wild or bred as feeders...bunnies are literally like small dogs that don't bark, social, loving, intelligent, live 10 - 13 years. I'm sick to my stomach reading this right now
