years later, i'm now 18 and an avid reader of all 3 parts of this amazing, lovingly-told story.
The comic itself had been done for a while, but in 2023 I released a book version, for collectors and fans. The last copy was let go a few days ago, so it's now out of print. Of course, the story lives on on the Internet. Speaking of comics...

For some reason, in the Mega Man DOS games, Mega Man does not change color when he equips a Special Weapon. Also, in the first game, the Mega Buster is referred to as the "Plasma Cannon", a name which would be reused in the Mega Man Ruby-Spears cartoon.

The news anchor from the opening cutscene of Mega Man 9 bears a striking resemblance to Chun-Li from the Street Fighter series. This may be a reference to the 1994 live-action Street Fighter film, in which Chun-Li is depicted as a news anchor.

The Rockman X DiVE Illustration Collection artbook reveals cut content that was planned to be in DiVE before the game ended service. Amongst them was planned collab content between DiVE and Rockman Xover, a previous Mega Man mobile title, as Nero L and Oro S were in the planning stages.

Between 2009-10, development began on a potential Mega Man Star Force 4, which would have featured a new character named Kazuma, a descendant of Lan Hikari from the Mega Man Battle Network games. The game was cancelled due to Star Force 3's poor sales, and was discovered on June 14, 2019.

Mega Man Battle Network 4 is notorious for its English localization having many glaring translation errors. Among them are lines such as "let's get on with the viruses busting" instead of "virus busting" and the infamous "Leg's go, Lan!" line.

According to character designer Yuji Ishihara, there were plans for a PET-shaped GameCube controller to be released alongside Mega Man Network Transmission, the only Battle Network title on the GameCube. Unfortunately, these plans fell through during development of the game.

There exist fan-made NES-style demakes of both Mega Man 7 and Mega Man 8. These include several differences from the original games, such as the shop not being in 7, screws being more common in 8, and the lack of an intro stage or Robot Museum in 7.

Stage 2 of the Wily Star from Mega Man V has the most amount of bosses of any Mega Man stage to date, with a whopping 12, consisting of the boss rush against all 8 Stardroids, plus fights against Enker, Quint, Punk and Ballade, the penultimate bosses of the other Mega Man Game Boy titles.
