I'm attending the Hands Off protest against the Trump administration in San Diego today - it starts at noon in Civic Center Plaza.
There are similar protests planned across the country: there is likely one near you. I would caution anyone who is not a US Citizen against coming.

I'm excited to say we are expecting our first child! Today marks the end of the first trimester of pregnancy - so it seems a traditional time to make an announcement. I cannot wait to meet her in just a few months!

I was saddened to hear about the death of my committee member, George Bealer. He had a formative role in my development as a philosopher, and will be sorely missed.
