Right proper video on my #PSP Bluetooth project is finally here. Took longer than I hoped but very pleased with the milestone the projects reached. Thanks @pcbwayofficial.bsky.social for working with me on this. youtu.be/9r6rsSNpkjs

Work have an electric drum kit. Finally got myself some sticks so I’ll be playing for the first time in about 10 years. Used to be able to play System Of A Down’s fantastic Mezmerise album. Let’s see if I still can! Quite nervous TBH.

I have made my first PSP game. (With lots of hemp from the CMFileManager project)

Just watched Atomic People. It was haunting, terribly saddening. The children burnt beyond recognition. One woman, in her 20’s holding her own internal organs asking for help. Shadows left on the stairs, black stains of where once stood a human vaporised from the blast. It’s haunting, and terrifying

Thanks to member of the #psp discord finally resolved a bug I’ve been chasing for 3 months.

Turns out I was calling ‘sceTerminateThread’ when I should have called ‘sceTerminateDeleteThread’, obviously.

I’ve got my #PSP controlling a DS5 controller. All with no hardware modifications to the PSP itself. Next up is polling for gyro data.

My PSP is now controlling my DS5 controller. Communicating with and ESP32 via its serial port.

Cyberpunk has some fantastic music.

Think this is one of my favourites though.

Well just bought my 6th #psp. Broken of course. Think I have a problem.

Well my #psp breakout board works. Now to begin working on some custom plugins to do cool stuff.

Progressing nicely.

Managed to fit all four on. Been quite a while since doing any embroidery but really looking forward to it. Need to remember how many strands now.

Not done any embroidery for a while. Starting my next project. Quite a bit of wasted space. Will see if I can fit the rest on I think.

Tried to make a little logo for my project. Don’t think it’s too shabby. github.com/ste2425/AVBr...

So I’ve made a KiCad library for #psp tv out connectors. This makes accessing the serial port super easy and solder free. Also may allow people to build a custom dock etc. prototypes not arrived yet to test but exciting. Trying to make a Bluetooth controller dongle. github.com/ste2425/PSPT...

TVOut breakout for my #psp I think is done. It allows me to intercept the serial lines from the TVOut port and still use original AV cables. Got some replacement AV connectors from ZedLabz. Should allow for a dock to be built it it works.

Just met Vader in #starwars fallen order. It was brilliant. Doing things with a slight flick of the wrist which others had to put their entire being into. Fighting with one hand almost carelessly. Fantastic portrayal.

I finally got it working. I managed to fix the #psp project OP-Ditto which allows dual analog sticks for the PSP. It been a long journey of learning but I finally fixed it up and got it working. Very pleased with myself. It’s a janky mess from the hardware POV but it’s great!

3 years ago i began a journey of learning #psp development, #pcb design and general hardware. I was inspired by an incomplete project called OPDitto which had a bug in it. It took that long to learn enough to figure out what it’s big was. Want to know? It was a bloody bracket in the wrong place

I did something dangerous.

Well I got my #psp and my ESP32 to talk to each other. My consolizer now knows about the PSP. It knows what games you’re playing. I’m going to experiment with auto zoom when playing PSP games (if you solder uo to a HDMI adapter with zoom option) and adding right analog stick support.

Quick question. You’ve done some work recently on PSP projects. Would you consider designing a break out PCB for the TVOut connector? I’ve been trying to for a project and really struggling, figured there’s no harm in asking if it’s something you’d consider!
