akademiya redesign but idk if i want to keep that concept? like would she be dendro but not go to sumeru? 🤔 this is only a visionswap AU but the idea is she'd have been a slightly different person to have a different element, so would the new sucrose have left mond? hmm....
old design (heavily referencing lisa's akademiya skin and tighnari's hair lol) redesign (might overhaul) more based on the shape of traditional arabic dresses (2 layers + middle part) and a lil' genshin flair inspired by faruzan's skirt

context: oczy (fighter) leaving to stall for time to let badeni (monk) escape from the inquisitors with the proof of heliocentrism (a heretical concept to the church) badeni earlier in their conversation reprimanding oczy, telling him he'll get killed, and fighting the inquisitors means he will go to hell, oczy retorting how up until recently he wished to enter heaven as soon as possible, but now he has found something worth going to hell for (if I explain this, it would be faster to watch this anime for yourself; please do btw, this character arc is my favorite) o: I've placed my faith in the earth movement theory b: wait b: dear god, (all badeni): as the saviour once promised to us I am the resurrection and life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. oh merciful creator, please find it in you heart to accept us when the day of judgement comes for us And embrace us with your loving arms into the kingdom of heaven as we perish from this world onto the next. want to yap but I can't post the actual theme so here's what hyunjae's theme sounds like to me (alt text)
if I had to describe it first without referencing other music though, it's like something sparkling in the moonlight... it reminded me of some of the quieter night panels in houseki no kuni (←worlds worst comparison) anyways I have no qualifications for the rest of my opinions either but I hope they can kind of make sense :') franz liszt: la campanella (specifically the Vivy anime's arrangement) the high register piano notes that sounds really sparkly. hyunjae's theme doesn't have an accelerando/fortissimo part at the end though zankyou no terror ost: walt still a lot faster than his theme but a lot mellower than la campanella (I just really like the piano in both of these and they both have a staccato intro that goes into a very smooth melody, I'm sorry this isn't a very good explanation) fear and hunger ost: fear and hunger the percussion in his theme reminds me of the knocking... compared to the other 2, F&H kinda swings around to sounding more empty compared to hyunjae's theme, but they both have this ambience/echo
