When did you first see yourself in a book? Feeling represented and part of a community saves lives. For everyone who comes out today, and for everyone who may not have that opportunity, we see you. We want you to see yourself in our stories.

You can make a difference and stand up to book bans of queer literature. Read a banned book, or request it from your library. Read queer books at risk of being banned, talk about them, review them. 1/2

These books with LGBTQ+ characters have already been banned in many places. By banning the experiences of others, no one grows. Read about the experiences of others. Practice empathy. It’s only in coming together and learning from each other that we grow.
