The River Styx is the boundary between the living and the dead. It's a story that always stood out to me and explains my current situation. Here to support others, crack a few jokes, and unseriously talk about serious topics.
We didn't over pay for KD but he's not an instant fix to our biggest problems. Our half court offense can suffer/stutter

Ime and his staff must improve our schemes and ATOs. Otherwise this trade is a bust

It's exhausting knowing you're weak, knowing you're putting in the work, and eventually you'll be strong. But rn you're weak and improving takes time

Mission accomplished

Just one question: how? It's vanilla butter salt and pecans that should equal happiness

Was I tripping or did a Pacers player rock a "SATOSHI" fleece on the sideline?

My local theatre is performing The Color Purple the Musical

I'm not sure how I feel about that. This area is majority white, so is it good they're seeing black stories?

I'm just worried they'll go to that instead of actually doing work that fights white supremacy

Maybe this spurs them to fight

Quick reminder:

If you believe church based schools need tax money you're admitting that your tax exempt religion is hoarding funds meant for community improvement

Quit forcing your religion on the public and start holding your religion accountable for how they do/don't deploy dollars
The Finances Behind The Vatican
The Vatican, with its immense history and religious influence, has a complicated relationship with finance. With increasing skepticism from Catholics around the world, stagnant church membership an…

I think we're cooked as a society

I checked into urgent care and it was required that I sign a waiver not to drink alcohol or smoke tobacco in the waiting room

That means someone at some point was drinking in the waiting room.

Random vent, but my car's in the shop to fix some keying/knife damage

Never used a body shop before and they told me "at least 2 weeks" and I won't even have an estimate for another week or so.

I'm cycling and walking in the meantime but it's mind blowing how much work they have to do

Honestly I love spring. Literally got the windows open, blue skies, birds & critters doing their thing, flowers and trees swaying in a gentle breeze.

Not sure if I should go for a ride, or stay posted up with my coffee

Damn. Looks like Carlos blocked Lewis. Probably an accident but let's see what the stewards say

It's dope finding a lot of #F1 comments in the skyline

I'll say it directly and clearly

All this fuckery is on white people. Y'all love racism more than y'all love freedom. I tried to tell y'all for over a decade, trump ain't him, and y'all didn't do shit but double down.

So it's on y'all to fix it. Until then I'm only focused on me and mine

I'm punching air rn

I bought breathe right nasal strips because I'm not sick but can't breathe. Halfway thought they were a scam.

100% legit and instantly feeling better. No meds. Just open airways and breathing well.

I'm mad at how happy I am. 10/10 full recommendation

My favorite workout warmup is reracking all the abandoned weights

Farmers walk ✅
Torso rotations ✅

All jokes aside I'm trying to be more intentional about leaving places better than I entered them. Still protecting my peace with strangers, but small cleanup fights the malaise.

Bruh....

I just checked my fitness app and my last workout was on the 11th. I thought it had been damn near a month since

I need to be kinder to myself

Back in the gym after weeks of battling bronchitis

I did better than I thought and had fun.

PSA: get your updated flu and covid vaccines, mask up, wash your hands and wipe down shared spaces. Also Sudafed is on backorder/low inventory

Take care and have a great day y'all!

Today was a great day. Client is happy, I met up with friends and the Rockets are competing well!

I've been way too stressed the last few days. Today's my get right day. Already had a good sync up with a few friends, I'll knock out some client work, and then it's chilling into the weekend

5. It was a solid game, and I got to send my Philly friends congrats texts/memes

6. Football is over so now we can focus on the NBA!

Yall have a great morning/afternoon/day!
3. The Super Bowl will never be a "great concert". The logistics and timeframe won't allow for it.

4. Kendrick and Samuel L Jackson were awesome. They told a story and I enjoyed the presentation. Of course there's a lot more on rewatch, but the first watch was dope.
Or it's explicit approval of celebrating the rich stealing and hustling the poor. Just an odd look imo.

2. Just because an ad costs as much as a movie doesn't mean it should be paced like one. My friends tuned out most ads after the 2nd misdirection. The group/company shouldn't be a spoiler

There were a few interesting insights from yesterday's game.

1. It's 2025 and brands still don't know how to use celebrities. The Dunkin one was weird, but Michelob was the worst offender. Either their celebs are broke & can't buy it or the product is good but not worth buying.
