Finished Stardust Memories and now I'm on Victory Gundam and the animation is... interesting, to say the least.

11 episodes in and the story is there, it's actually been good so far, but the lack of shading and less detailed animation is taking a while to get used to.

The Double Zeta Gundam is a really close second though. I think I'm just a bitch for transformable mobile suits.

Until further notice, the Zeta Gundam is my current favorite Gundam and the Wave Rider is sick as fuck.

I will be getting a gunpla of this mobile suit before the year ends.

I haven't read Tokyo Ghoul or :re since it ended in 2018, but I've been itching to reread it, especially :re.

I mean, look at these covers, they're so fucking gorgeous, seeing Ishida's art style evolve was so great to see in real time.

Oh, and fuck Studio Pierrot and their anime adaptation.

Newest addition to the backlog, but I think I'ma do this one sooner than later. A red gunpla with a samurai sword? Hell fucking yeah.

One Punch Man getting a third season is great and all, but I wish it was Madhouse doing it.

Don't get me wrong, I like JC Staff, but Madhouse snapped in the first season and set the animation standard too damn high.

After starting my Gundam anime journey in late August, I've slowly been getting into building the gunpla model kits.

Haven't even built all of these yet, but for the ones I have built, I'll get around to taking pictures after I pose them and get some decent lighting.

I reread Vinland Saga at least once a year and never get tired of it. This panel always hits hard after seeing everything Thorfinn has gone through and the evolution of his character is just *chef's kiss*; this is a god tier of a manga.

Update on my Gundam journey: I'm on Stardust Memories and the aesthetic is peak 90s vibes.

I also appreciate these shorter episode count series after ZZ, instead of 50 episodes, it's 13 episodes instead.

In between my Gundam binge, I've also watched other anime.

My sister put me on to The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity otherwise known as Communication: The Anime.

Seriously, everyone communicates their feelings in this show, it's kinda refreshing.

It's also cute as shit.

What surprises me the most is how compelling of a story this anime was able to tell in under 10 episodes.

It was heartwarming, emotional, and tragic all wrapped in one. It was a more grounded and intimate story that didn't involve anyone from the main cast. That's what makes it a gem in my eyes.

This anime also made me appreciate the mobile suit Zaku more.

At first, I only cared about the Gundam models and whatever my boi Char Aznoble piloted, but WitP made me appreciate the Zaku a bit more.

After finishing Gundam ZZ, I watched the short OVA series War in the Pocket and this was such a gem.

I like how war is always depicted as a bad thing in the Gundam universe, but this one really showed us how it affects civilians and children who think it's "cool" until they experience it.

Today, I woke up a bit dehydrated, sleepy, and not in the mood to run. It’s Friday. It’s supposed to be a fun day.

But in the famous words of David Goggins, “who’s gonna carry the boats?”

So I went out and carried the damn boat.

You said for $100k, right?

Fuck it, I like food.

I’ll take the foodgasms.

What's your favorite non-Transformer giant robot?

This is so tuff, I love it.

There’s something to be said about the anime aesthetic of the 80s.

The PS Vita is the best handheld Sony ever put out and it's a shame there was no successor.

The Nintendo Switch is cool and all, but the game library the PSP and Vita had is goated.
