Strixhaven isn't the Plane, Strixhaven is the School, Arcavios is the plane's proper name. Also it is formed of two planes that collided and the Snarls are from where the leylines from those two planes cross, which is cooler lore than those crappy lands deserve.

Wouldn't being able to abuse the Asymmetrical effects of Ugin and All is Dust make them more powerful than Farewell? Thus making them even more Game Changing?

My the metric of "hard reset on the game" Shouldn't Ugin and All is Dust be GC as well? (For the record I personally don't care what is or isn't a gamechanger, I am just curious where people draw the line)

Because Maralen is a dead elf that Oona put a piece of her essence into back in the original storyline. Oona was afraid that a Great Aurora that she did not control (that was being caused by the Mending) would change her to a Shadowmoor Faerie and cause her to lose her memories.

The restriction of only creature spells hurts it too much, there are enough really good land cycles and 5 color lands without restrictions.
I've ended up cutting most of the Triomes from my 5C deck.

7 Mana to make a 1/1 is an awful rate and "Spend this mana only on creatures" is a pretty massive downside for your fixing.

I would generally attribute it less to the format being "Fast" and more that the format (like all eternal formats) becomes more efficient over time. It used to be that Explosive Vegetation were good, but now they aren't because you have lower cost things that aren't as powerful but are good enough
