I'm actually here now I guess
Mastery#246- Took me quite a while, among being sick AF and needing to take day trips away from the house, but I got it in the end. Speed runs are pretty tight, but much more manageable if you learn how to do the enemy toss bounce. WAH.

All I ask is that you make it with graphics that make it look like its still an Apple II game.

I would have thought it was if we didn't already know about Romeo is a Deadman

Mastery#245- This set is disgusting, not because the game its very easy and it doesn't require you to do anything more than just beat it, but the RNG mini game perfect for the tiles requires you to repeatedly put in one of the pre determined patterns and pray. I got kinda lucky, but it sucks.

Mastery#244- A fun adaptation of the Arcade game. Some might even say this is better since you have the little jump attack. Perhaps I should find out some day...

Mastery#243- Pretty straight forward fighting game set, but that final boss is a real asshole. A couple characters have some good cheese for him, but otherwise -man-.

I've always really fucked with The Pretender, but it may be an effect of it being a shining beacon of a song on an album that's otherwise kinda meh.

Mastery#242- BANGER. Absolute 10/10 video game. Worth the 50 hours spent completing this set. Ready for that new one to come out... eventually!

Mastery#241- Great game. Pretty difficult set. Needing to carry around a uncontrolled player 2 is pretty tough. Badging the sequel to down the line!

Mastery#240- Very straight forward set. Beat the game, do a couple early challenges, find some hidden stuff. Pretty good. Bangarang and such.

Mastery#239- Poyo.

Does that make Master of Disguise the Banjo Pilot?

The devs said they didn't think it could work without the breaks and flow of the story, but I really think the game would have benefitted with some sort of endless rogue like dispatch mode you could play after you finish the game.

Mastery#238- Some more portable Crash. From what I understand, the ones after this are -pretty awful-, this one at least feels like playing a crash game where most of the levels are the sidescrollers.

Mastery#237- The need to play more Aria overtook me, so I did a damn subset. Pretty tough but very doable set.

Mastery#236- Man there's four versions of this game and all of them have sets... another collection to strive for eventually. But I started with the scientifically correct choice, that no one can argue with. I went with the version with the best looking badge. Cool game too.

Mastery#235- Yeah this game is kinda stinky, but for a kid in 95 on a car trip for 3+ hours, it'll do in a pinch. Without the color of the super game boy palettes though, good luck finding the platforms in those later levels! Yeesh.

If this is also a backdoor to more Eve Tessmacher, sign me the hell up
November 10, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Pretty sure it was already in dev limbo anyways
November 9, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Mastery#234- Pretty much on the level of the other gameboy MMPR game, though this version does the thing where you can transform using energy and then can do a screen clear with more. So its cool.
