When is the next gubernatorial election in Georgia?
November 22, 2025 at 1:58 PM
yeah... I really wish that more people would pay attention, get informed, and vote.

So much trash out there.
November 21, 2025 at 11:45 PM
I am certain of it, but if they don't like Jeff, there is no way would they vote for Jamil.

I think the base of the cons are looking for a more moderate voice instead of these self-entitled douchebags.

Trump looks at Mamdani like Melania looks at Trudeau.

Today we all learn.

It doesn't look like all states, but definitely in some. The article I just read said 19 states have recall legislation.
November 21, 2025 at 10:53 PM
Here in Canada, having enough signitures on a recall petition can trigger an election. It varies, but in Alberta (where a couple recall petitions are currently circulating), it requires 60% of the number of votes cast in the previous election.
November 21, 2025 at 10:05 PM
Hold on... you are right. In every jurisdiction I know of, recall elections can happen... but apparently not for elected members of the US Federal Government. Just learned something new. Apparently, it was considered but never included when drafting the constitution. Sorry.

If I recall correctly, that mechanism may already be in place.

;)

I agree with him in one specific way. My MP is a POS that is trying to tear the country apart and has no real solutions for anything. I didn't vote for him, but he is 'my voice in parliament'.

JD's corrupt and slimy buddy Jamil.

I would argue that having two different models would be a plus. They do slightly different things, and these pilots are skilled enough to fly both. Keep the Gripens in Alberta, the north, and the east coast, and the F-35s in Trenton. Diversity is a strength.

Gonna be hard for Wilson to make the olympic squad if he starts getting suspensions.

These refs have missed a few clear calls tonight.

The general rule of thumb is that the bigger the bill, the more pork barreling is in it.

They are all slimy piggies.
November 20, 2025 at 12:15 PM
I think the provision only applied to senators, not congresspersons... as a couple of these congresspeople are still in Congress and would have benefitted.
November 20, 2025 at 12:13 PM
I loath that he is my MP. I tried to talk to so many people, but this riding is dark blue... which is why he was parachuted in here in the first place.
November 20, 2025 at 12:04 PM
It hosts the city rec site for us, so thousands couldn't log in yesterday morning to register for swimming for January... I found out why quickly, but there were likely thousands who stayed refreshing for well over an hour.
November 20, 2025 at 1:30 AM
So, I think I finally figured out why they did it.

They wanted to be the two final votes to 'quash' the bill and force an election.

But then there were abstentions... so they didnt 'save the day' for the CPC, they just made complete asses of themselves and their party.

Infantile douchebaggery.

Can't he just send Trump $1,000,000 and get a pardon?

So we can expect Bondi to formally announce the investigation before Dopey McGropey gets a chance to ok it?
November 19, 2025 at 12:23 PM
The fact that he accused the UK of gaslighting in this interview is... a choice.

Given his response, like most of what he says, is gaslighting, he should be considered an expert on the topic.

The lack of self-awareness is astounding but not surprising.
November 19, 2025 at 11:49 AM
This is interesting. I expected a couple of MPs to abstain, but not Cons. PP must be livid.

They possibly didn't enjoy the prospect of another election where their leader has become even more disliked... potentially costing them their ridings.
