This is honestly disappointing. I much preferred the idea that we a Iowans as a whole just love us some Kyle Farnsworth.

It's basically big time third baseman or bust now at this point, no? If they get one then the off-season was a moderate success, if not it's another total failure?
January 8, 2026 at 3:22 PM
Including Lamar on this list is...a choice. Lmao Remind me when Lamar ever inhibited Allen from getting to a super bowl?
January 5, 2026 at 2:48 PM
Good to go lose in the biggest games like he always does.
January 5, 2026 at 2:45 PM
Again, the excuses get crazier every year. I must admit though... calling a guy who was 2nd in the league in rushing yards and TDs washed as a way to argue that Lamar has no help is one I haven't heard before. Props to you for the innovation.
January 5, 2026 at 2:29 PM
🤣 He has a top five all time running back and has been given multiple 1st round picks at WR and o-line. He just lost to a team with a 42 year old qb who had Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdez Scantling starting at WR in 2025. The excuses get more ridiculous for this guy every year. Give me a break.
January 5, 2026 at 2:08 PM
If they had won those games you could also find single plays the other team should've made that would have flipped the result. The point is, Lamar has been on loaded teams for basically his entire career and absolutely refuses to win a big game. He shows it every damn year.
January 5, 2026 at 1:59 PM
100% they are. Go back and watch the bills playoff game from last year. He had a fumble and threw a pick that a supposed "elite" qb just absolutely can't have in the playoffs. That's just one example, but he's proven every single year that he's allergic to showing up in the biggest moments.
January 5, 2026 at 1:50 PM
Not really unconnected at all. Lamar had totally unacceptable turnovers in most of those games which has been the main cause. But agree Harbaugh is also to blame.
January 5, 2026 at 5:46 AM
No need to mention all of Lamar's totally unacceptable turnovers in most of those games.
January 5, 2026 at 5:44 AM
Yep losing big games he very obviously should've won. There he is indeed.
January 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
When highsmith can't tackle Lamar coming in unblocked, Lamar is a god. When the steelers backs break a million tackles it's because Hamilton is hurt 🤦
January 5, 2026 at 5:04 AM
It was true tonight and it has always been true. Are you just gonna ignore the fact that the steelers missed an extra point moments prior? If he had won people would've used that to support him winning big games...
January 5, 2026 at 4:49 AM
Was he "trying to win" this week or nah?
January 5, 2026 at 4:41 AM
The Lamar experience.
January 5, 2026 at 3:30 AM
🤣 To say Tomlin "wasn't trying to win" is a crazy take just because they didn't run the 2000 rams offense. They should have won with the strategy they employed if not for a blatant pi non call and a dropped pick 6! Tomlin has always tried to win ugly and it usually works!

So your suggestion is to come out guns a blazin throwing the ball all over the field with a 42 year old qb, 0 receivers, and a 3rd string left tackle against Garrett and the leagues best pass defense in bad weather?
December 28, 2025 at 9:07 PM
Why? Their offense struggled with a 3rd string left tackle and Thielen and MVS being your only receivers in terrible weather conditions against a very good defense. Was this surprising?
December 28, 2025 at 9:01 PM
We're pretty clearly headed in that direction if things continue as they are. I've heard right wingers start to make pieces of this argument in a sports context. And policy is pushing this too. It's very difficult for Venezuelan talent in baseball right now and I think it's pretty clear why.
December 26, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Well said. Actively rooting for him to be traded this off-season.
December 21, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Lol
December 20, 2025 at 2:45 AM
I mean Maye is the only one of those that it's actually playing well though. Williams has been ok and nix has been dreadful and is being propped up by an elite defense.
December 18, 2025 at 3:01 PM
The packers dropped like 5 easy INTs.
December 15, 2025 at 11:50 AM
Probably should've tried that strategy a week or 2 ago
December 14, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Copy and paste but for the cubs
