Patient advocacy! I recently met with my Minnesota state legislatures Rep. Matt Norris and Sen. Michael Kreun to discuss issues vitally important to people with cancer and their families. I’m looking forward to an exciting year of advocacy!

I had the privilege of presenting the curricular work completed by Dr. Kristin Sandau and I. We successfully demonstrated that leadership-focused course work serves as a great platform for alignment with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing #Essentials competencies for doctoral education.

Amidst all the chaos of change, we have to stay focused on the task at hand. Our changing climate and the environment around us are having devastating effects on the people we love all across the country. People fighting cancer are facing unprecedented challenges. 🌱🌎
