Speaking of which, I ran BRD first tier and it was... an experience. A lot of work and very sensitive to rdps variance outside of your control. Hard to feel a sense of agency.

Bah, sorry to hear the timing didn't work out, that's rough. We did end up finding an 8th, BUT it sounds like we might be down a person for the ex trail and on week 4 of the tier. If you're ever available to fill, invitation's always open.

I get those dreams too. Curious about this lost friend. Sometimes these types of dreams push to make positive changes in my life, but it's not always possible.

Remember: true professionals don't eat, drink, poop, pee, or sleep. Corporeal needs are bad for shareholder value. Stories like this are sobering and remind me that no matter how much of a corporate hell my own workplace has slowly transformed into it could always get worse.

Yeah, but a quiche is 50 minutes and pasta is like 10, and it's stovetop. There's sauce to be prepped too.

I guess my thinking then is it shouldn’t be that big a deal if cooking time is missing. Are you putting on pasta and not watching it?

Yeah, it can range quite a lot depending on pasta thickness, composition, and drying method. But honestly, with pasta you probably want to be testing it for doneness and not just basing it on package time, especially if you're pulling it out earlier than al dente to finish cooking in the sauce.
