To be fair to M*A*S*H, Klinger dressed in drag because he is trying to get discharged from the Army as he wasn’t able to dodge the draft so he figures if he cross dresses they will assume he is gay and throw him out. As was the norm for WW2 to the end of Vietnam.

Obviously it’s Oklahoma University. You can get a degree there by saying “god told me” and get faculty fired while you’re at it.
