I can't fully separate the theme and art from the game. Magic is more than mechanics and I don't think it would ever have gotten to where it is now if it hadn't poured so many resources into consideration of aesthetics, implied lore, flavor text. Imagine all the cards as just text: still fun?

Nothing wrong with LASHing it out for sure. Sectioning the whole thing can be more difficult actually, you have to get your trail legs back each time.
