This ranks highly as one of the most incredible books I've ever seen. Alongside La Commedia with all the original woodcuts, both in the #rylands! Inferno lettered edition (we got A!!) by Sophy Hollington. 👹🤯

Along with @bodleianlibraries.bsky.social and the British Museum, the Rylands Heritage Imaging Lab are now only the 3rd institution to have the Selene photometric stereo system from Factum Foundation. looking at tooling on a German alchemical manuscript binding today... #archiox #RHIL
