Going through similar thoughts myself... at a bigger company thinking it's as good as it can get and it still drives me crazy.

Is this even extensible enough that I could be able to write a paragraph in this box rather than a tweet-chain?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but atprotocol docs are not making me feel like these things are possible? NOSTR is the only solution that appears open-ended enough to offer something truly comprehensive with minimal constraint of experimentation in novel directions.

- Also open ended enough people could experiment with different monetization schemes. Like different ways to tip content. Or potentially create some kind of store front that could go through a channel of system.

- Open ended enough that people could experiment with novel ratings schemes. Such a multivariate 'Like'. Where instead of one universal 'Like' you could uprate different qualities. Like Funny, Intelligent, Based, whatever, and then you could filter based on what you're in the mood for.

- Will be able to send payments through some channel somehow based on digital wallet associated with one's decentralized identity.

- Can have some torrent-like mechanic implemented so someone may only have to seed the file to serve, then others in the room will start helping to send it to new users that join.

Short list of needs in my mind:
- Enables advertising and finding 'rooms' to join based on friends.
- Can let users implement different ways to find said rooms.
- Can allow signaling of webrtc over some channel to hook up realtime data in a room.
- Can allow users to serve files to others in room.
