Surely someone somewhere will eventually stand up to this fucking idiot. I've never seen such a lack of backbone from so many 'big players' in all my life. It's embarrassing

You said the plan was to give Oracle the contract, and that it might already have been signed

There is literally no evidence for any of that. There is no invitation to tender, much less a contract ready to sign/already signed, so it is a 'plot'. A conspiracy theory
October 24, 2025 at 9:16 AM
Your very premise is a 'plot'!
October 23, 2025 at 11:21 PM
You don't think that Oracle getting a government contract (one that hasn't even been put out to tender) thanks to Tony Blair's unevidenced interventions is a 'plot'?
October 23, 2025 at 11:00 PM
I'm intrigued by how they got to the position they (claim to) hold
October 23, 2025 at 10:29 PM
How involved do you think Blair is with the current government, and what evidence is there for that?
October 23, 2025 at 10:22 PM
*contracts

I haven't seen any mention of Oracle except social media posts
October 23, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Have contacts been signed yet?

"Can’t make an LLM-ette without breaking regs"

👏👏👏

Could it be because Calvin Robinson used to also write for a tech magazine? (Linux Format?) I'm clutching at straws a bit

Nigel Farage was infinitely more vehement in his anger against Linehan's arrest than Starmer's incredibly ambiguous "we have to be careful why we arrest people" view

I'm not defending Starmer, but to say he's worse than Reform on trans issues is bullshit of the highest order
September 26, 2025 at 10:35 PM
That's one member of Reform and one member of Labour

Reform says “transgender indoctrination is causing irreversible harm to children”, and is
"divisive, woke ideology"

That's far beyond what Labour have said
September 26, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Things that were "thrashed out 15 years ago" are hardly relevant to today's politics
September 26, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Reform all but denies trans people exist. They are the most rabidly anti-trans party we have
September 26, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Who has the government stated will have access to it who doesn't already have access?
September 26, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Your argument is built (it seems) on the premise that joined-up data is a bad thing. It's just costly and inefficient with every department wanting a new ID
September 26, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Given the sheer amount of data the government already holds, why is *this* the beginning of the slippery slope?

Why not imagine the benefits?
September 26, 2025 at 4:00 PM
The old 'slippery slope' fallacy?
September 26, 2025 at 3:44 PM
I also don't read The Sun and yet I've read Starmer's entire message in several places
September 22, 2025 at 10:10 AM
That's got a high concentration of the people he's aiming this at
