Plus I feel like the majority of the peeps doing the criticism vids are completely missing the point of the media they’re criticizing so it just ends up being doubly frustrating

Agreed! I hardly ever see anything positive with vid essays. Whatever happened to the 2 negatives and a positive rule of criticism? Even that would be better than straight up hate.
