The Warm Homes Plan was a manifesto pledge to invest £13.2bn in insulation, solar, and low-carbon upgrades. That promise must be kept.

Cutting it would be a political and moral failure. It’s time to deliver on the commitment to make homes warmer, safer, and cheaper to heat, for good.

This isn’t just about polling, it’s about people’s health, bills, and futures.

🧑‍⚕️ Health workers are urging the Government to honour its promise, after reporting patients being sent home to damp, freezing conditions that make them sick again.

This is the bad and ugly side of energy trading. While they rake it in, millions in the UK are forced to choose between heating and eating.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Fixing these inefficiencies could save us all £4.5 bn a year. That’s £173 back in your pocket, every single year.

New research by the End Fuel Poverty Coalition shows that nearly £207bn of these profits come from firms deeply embedded in the gas industry — the same fossil fuels driving high prices and climate breakdown.

Even the companies maintaining the pipes and wires are profiteering.
