Less than an hour before San Francisco has a new mayor

A cool moment in downtown SF today. The city is renaming a part of Sutter Street after Joe Rosenthal. He took the famous photo at Iwo Jima during WWII. He then spent years as a Chronicle photographer documenting some of the most historic moments in the city.
