I'm also scared that violence against trans people will cause a wave of detransitions to avoid being killed by a psychopath. Trans people are already unjustifiably targeted as is. But if there is a wave of detransistions for safety concerns, I imagine it'll be used as "trans bad" propaganda

The Supreme Court is also fucked completely. If two of them retire in the next 4 years like expected, the next 40 will be hell with a maxed out republican Supreme Court. If dems ever play politics again and win a presidency, they could add more Supreme Court seats, but I don't have high hopes.

And this includes the tens of millions of immigrants already here that literally keep our economy running and social security afloat. Because they not only pay taxes but can't draw any benefits from them. They've been paying into our taxes for nothing in return, and now we're throwing them out

Not to mention we're literally creating mass hysteria over immigrant problems that don't exist. Meaning that every single person from a smaller nation that has to flee due to climate change can't even go to the Imperial core for safety because we're such a racist ass country.

So it's literally only going to get much worse. I truly can't imagine what it will be like in ~40 years when what Trump is about to deregulate manifests. But by then, who knows what diseases would have spread by shifting climates or what crops are literally ungrowable.

Just a bit of a rant here, but most people in the US don't understand that climate change will ruin the way we live long before it destroys the land beneath our feet like in Florida or North Carolina. Not to mention that what we're experiencing now is most likely due to emissions in the 80s/90s
