It was another unbearably hot day. A #squirrel that lives in one of the trees was stretched out most of the day on the patio to keep cool.

Squirrel stretched out under the chair. This little one has been living here for a few years now. Spring/Summer/Autumn they get fresh water, and year round they get peanuts...twice daily. No wonder they feel safe here. This was taken through the window. Didn't want to disturb the little guy. Seems like extreme heat is the new summer norm :/

#Hawk (of #Falcon?). There are about half-a-dozen different types of birds that live in the trees on my property, plus squirrels and other small animals. Seems this one knew when I usually feed them and was waiting.

1. Just some snow on the tree. Snowed most of the day yesterday, clear skies today.
2. Some little animals live in that bush. They made their own pathway to the patio for some peanuts.

Saw this #Peterbilt cabover today in Thorold, Ontario. Extremely rare to see c/o's in North America nowadays. Was hauling 2 old pickups to Montreal.

Was hauling 2 old pickups to Montreal. --- When I mentioned how rare it is to see cabovers the driver said "if I had a dollar for every time I heard that" lol. I'm not really a car/truck or vehicle guy, but I still do have a thing for older vehicles...and I think the old flat noses should make a come back in N/A. Saw this #Peterbilt cabover today in Thorold, Ontario. Extremely rare to see c/o's in North America nowadays. Nothing too special as it was too mild for much of the snow to stick around.

We have 3 or 4 squirrels that live in one of the trees. I think this is the 3rd or 4th generation of them to live there. Free food twice a day likely means they won't want to leave. Eastern White Cedar, always thought snow looked nice on green trees.

Finally getting some snow after 2 or 3 years of hardly getting any. (Taken Dec. 5, 2024 - 6:30AM) Between taking this, editing and posting it (maybe 30ish minutes), all the trees are covered. So hopefully I'll get some more snowy shots later when it's light out. South Niagara & WNY already got hammered with snow last week. Lake effect from Ontario is nowhere near as bad as Erie.

Back in May we had quite a few foggy days. This pedestrian bridge was covered so much in it, you couldn't see the park at the other side at all, and at most could only see half-way to the bridge.

#NiagaraFalls (Ontario) 'skyline' and #rainbow. This is at the top of the Horseshoe Falls. (Taken on Oct. 3, 2022) Trying to upload some older photos in between getting out and taking new ones. One Toronto 'politician' is trying to make Niagara (region) the "Las Vegas of the North". As a local I like the transit it *should* bring...otherwise it's a terrible idea. Miss the 90s when it was made up mostly of family attractions and no casinos. This was taken with my Canon SL3. While I absolutely love my new Nikon Z5, the Canon SL3 is so compact and still gives solid images. Alt text reminds me of my tumblr days, and talking in the tags.
