Thanks for the correction. An article about Stade Saputo had referenced the heated, irrigated hybrid field... at BMO.
Saint Paul is a bit colder than Montreal in Nov/Dec and a bit warmer in Feb/Mar. Both cities average sub-0°C lows from mid-Nov through Mar and sub-0°C highs from Dec through Feb.

Grass: Minnesota, Toronto, Montreal, Colorado, and Chicago have heated fields. RSL doesn't.
Turf: VAN and NE have heating systems, POR and SEA do not.
So RSL would likely need the biggest stadium upgrades. Maybe RBNY as well. And many of these teams will need to overhaul their practice facilities.

I’m a transplant from NY, but the main thing I’ve learned about being a MN sports fan in the last 9 years is that we are ALWAYS nervous, especially when our teams are playing well.

I’m rooting for the earthquakes. I hope the San Andreas runs right through Dignity Health Sports Park.
