ISPs around here where I live in rural Illinois is the biggest crapshoot because most people are stuck paying way too much for horrible speeds and they don’t have alternatives or like ours it is objectively good but definitely more expensive as better provider but traded for bad customer support.

I also appreciate Larian from the opening cinematic to the end of the game telegraphing illithids are bad and not really wavering off it, of course he would be slowing coercing you the entire game and depending on your character gaining “illithid power” makes sense leading you further astray.

Hallmark of a well written villain/antagonist. Love how the Ansur reveals encapsulated the whole character being awful.

It’s another tabletop being adapted over similarly to how Rogue Trader is. It’s a pretty popular one to my understanding, from player perspective in game though it’ll be more directly Inquisition themed so that’s a plus too, there’s some cool stuff there in the lore.

Owlcat Games are some of the best writers at adapting lore, they nailed it down here. They’re also currently working on a 40K: Dark Heresy adaptation.

Rogue Trader is phenomenal one of the best games to drop in 2023 and it has only got better with updates and DLC.

Tremere especially for where the story went I felt was very rewarding, (Safia 😶)

Debating for a particular ending for Phyre focusing that on Toreador or Banu later too. I got a feel for most of the abilities with my Tremere being well rounded after 40 hours.

Debating if I want to do my next playthrough as a true Ventrue with full Lou/Cam loyalty.

I’ve got a few others I want to also do next but I also really liked Ventrue abilities, I found mass Manipulation + Taunt (Brujah) to be really helpful with late game mobs.

I think for majority on the fence if it goes on sale it’ll work, it plays mostly fine minus some frame rate issues an some rough textures though. We just need more VTM games so it can eventually stick and get the effort it deserves.

BL2 is good, the issues people have all agreed on are there it needs a big QoL push, combat on normal vs mobs can feel unbalanced at times, but really love the story itself & characters, world building all that. Jane Perry is peak as Lou Graham one of her best roles to date.
