Lunch today from Wildflour. Got an Italian sandwich. Prosciutto, capicollo, soppressata, provolone, pickles, and a lemon mayo on a focaccia bread. Was very good, would recommend.

It's Friday! Went out to lunch and stopped by Rev BBQ Outpost again. Got the pimento Mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork and a side of cornbread. The bowl was pretty good, the pulled pork had some darker bark pieces on it which I always love. The cornbread was quite soft and moist.

It's Friday! Went out to lunch and stopped by Rev BBQ Outpost again. Got the pimento Mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork and a side of cornbread. The bowl was pretty good, the pulled pork had some darker bark pieces on it which I always love. The cornbread was quite soft and moist.
It's a beautiful fall day so I walked over to the Henrietta Public Library for early voting. I was there a bit after three, no line, no wait.

Brand new spot opened up today, the Rev BBQ Outpost. A new lunch counter connected to the Revelry, so I had to go check them out. It was pretty good, will definitely go back again.

Friday lunch at Mood Burger. Went with a new special, BBQ Dorito Burger. Cheddar, BBQ Doritos, BBQ Sauce, Lettuce, Pickle, Tomato, and BBQ Ranch Sauce. It was really quite good. I liked the little crunch from the Doritos and it was very flavorful.

Lunch today at Mood Burger. Tried another of the specials, the Poutine Burger. Swiss, Cheese Curds, Brown Gravy, and Fries. Since it had fries on it I tried their onion rings. Overall pretty good, a little messy.

Friday Lunch, went to Mood Burger like I usually do. Got another special, the Mushroom Swiss Burger. Smash Patty + Swiss Cheese + Mushrooms + Sautéed Onions + Arugula + Balsamic Glaze. The mushrooms were big thick pieces, which I liked. You could really taste it. Was very good, would recommend.

Friday lunch at Mood Burger. Went with one of the specials, Chili Eilish. Cooper Sharp Cheese Sauce and House made Chili. Definitely needed a fork and knife for this one.

Lunch today at Mood Burger. Got one of the specials, Marlee's PB&J Burger. Super good. Definitely one of my favs, strongly recommend if you like peanut butter.

For today's lunch I went to Mood burger and had one of their specials, a pizza burger. It was pretty good, but I think they have better options. Then just a few doors down to Forno Tony to get some Cookies and Cream Gelato. Was a very good lunch.

Breakfast today at Fiddlestix in Cornwall, NY. Got one of the weekly specials, the NY Benny. It was incredibly delicious, would recommend.

Tonight we went to Patron Saint, a lovely steakhouse here in Rochester. I got the Dover Sole that they filet right at the table! Very impressive watching the guy take out a whole skeleton. And a delicious butterscotch creme brulee for desert.

Multiple rooms in the warehouse, even some old computer stuff, like this copy of WordPerfect on 11 installation disks, and there were even some unopened blank 3.5 floppy disk packs.

Went to Rochester Greenovation today. Huge warehouse sized thrift store with just about everything. Incredibly densely packed, lots of hidden stuff.

At the Corn Hill Arts Fest in this heat. Usually I go for some absurd fried and greasy food from a food truck, but today I decided to go with something cool. Delicious frozen bowl, was absolutely the right choice

It looked like this the whole time I was outside yesterday and I still got sunburned. Really need to use sunscreen all the time.

Stopped by the Food Truck Rodeo tonight for dinner. Rochester does it at the public market, last Wednesday of the month, April-September. I really enjoy and it and would recommend. It's nice being able to get a bunch of different food. And there's also live music.

Unexpected find on my walk today, a writhing mass of snakes. I think they are garter snakes, were at least four of them.

Tried Sushi585 in the South Wedge today. All you can eat, order from your phone by QR code, the bring it out to the table. Was really very good. I will definitely be back and try some more. Not pictured: 5 more plates of sushi.

Went out with a local nature group and researchers to go salamander spotting tonight. Was a lot of fun, and got to see a bunch of salamanders.

Walked through the Tinker Nature Park here in Rochester. Little bit of hard packed snow on the trails, but it's melting. Had to wait for traffic on the bridge. At least 8 deer were just hanging out. I really liked the two that hung out to watch me walk by and checked to see if I was followed.

Here's a still image from the clip. This was at Village Gate in Rochester, NY. It's not unusual to see them around here, but this is definitely the closest I had been.

Spotted this beauty of a Red-tailed Hawk having a meal on a snowbank by Village Gate in Rochester. Parked right in front of him, didn't even see him until I was already pulling in, but he was too focused on food to worry about it. Pretty sure a pigeon was the unfortunate meal.

It's also very good. Good mac salad and uses their regular fries which I like. Thin and crispy. Maybe too much ketchup, but definitely something I'll get again.
