It feels based on accurate information but with assumptions made to fill the “story” making it now sound fake. Probably wasn’t a “I’ll do that if you let me do this” negotiation but there probably was an amount of “lets invite him to work on this so he’ll be refreshed and willing to do smash”

It’s feeling like a partner showcase summer to me, which I’m perfectly happy with as there’s a ton of 2025 third party titles I want dated or to get announced.
Hopefully that and Metroid’s release date both happen soon so I can start figuring out how I want to spend my money

There’s so much to look forward to but I really wish I had a BoTW style experience to make me want to never set the system down. I’ve had a feeling of “well the system is everything I’ve wanted and I finally have it but wtf do I do now”

I wish the joy-con 2 themselves had grip buttons rather than the charging grip. I’m hesitant to get too used to having remapped controls when docked because I have to revert when playing handheld.

I’m thinking they’ve provided Switch 2 units for the media event for a few 3rd party games to demo themselves on. Maybe a generic “Nintendo Switch 2 is available!” Ad, but TGA always has those and Nintendo’s not a “partner” then

Even if it was just this specific scenario that got addressed, 30% for a “product” and 5-10% on a “donation” would make the whole thing feel much better

30% is a significant enough chunk in regards to making a donation that I’d probably do things through the website despite generally wanting to use iCloud for everything (it makes changing payment methods and cancelling so easy)
I’m fine with a “platform’s cut” existing but wish it wasn’t universal
