I am excited for it. One of those special shows where there was emotional attachment built over a decade to the characters, and I wonder where life would bring them today. I hope it happens if you’re involved. My favorite sitcom by an extensive margin.

You’re welcome! We’re making our second trip to the Islands to live there for six weeks next summer. Your photos are an inspiration for so much that we want to see there.

One of my favorite photographers ever. Welcome!

I agree!

We’ve planned our month long trip back to the Islands next June/July. Can’t wait to attend some matches in person. Our rental home is right next door to 07 Vestur’s stadium. I figure I might catch a match in Torshavn as well.

Good call! Locally here for both townships and counties, applications are due at the end of December. And there is not a huge demand in most regions for these seats. If you want to be plugged in somewhere, you can get it done.

Lol good question - I had served as a volunteer on the non-profit overseeing parks maintenance and also volunteered on another committee for parking oversight in another city I lived in. But literally nobody was seeking appointment for our downtown board so I’m pretty sure they would’ve take anyone!

Yep - a lot of boards that report to city and township commissioners are by appointment. Just passed a screening and an interview with the supervisor, and before you know it I’m in the groove and of improving the landscape of business for our downtown development region.

True! I believe in our city every candidate who was on the ballot was elected. And man, who needs more protection than our librarians right now…

Phew boy you ain’t kidding. Getting more independent by the day. Both very cool and a bummer. I remember when your kid was younger than my youngest! 10 years in a blink.
