Yep. I didn't disagree with anything the author said in theory, it's just striking for people to see a game being enjoyed by many to be given that score.. so I get the reaction. It is the internet after all. Thanks for the pod discussion, I'm coming to this late but it was interesting.

Everyone needs to come to terms with that for themselves. I think the review is a fine place to judge a game for this, but then again I don't feel like such a small part of the game (callouts and vendors) is worth devaluing the mountain of other work that went into a great game otherwise.

To me, the hardline stance of "No AI, no buy" comes dangerously close to the realization of there being no ethical consumption under capitalism. Arc Raiders used it, with permission, for voice, but every company is displacing low level engineers and tech writers with AI right now. Where is the line?

Yep. Most people of that generation that I talk to literally are off by a factor of 2-4 when I ask them how much they think I pay for housing.

The generation is just completely out of touch, and I know that I will be too when I get that age.

Sorry but you're just wrong here. There is a thing as wisdom in age, yes, but when we say old, we're talking 70, 75+. Old people in Washington do not understand the world in which they are shaping, nor have anything other than a vested interest in the status quo.

It's not being rude. It's pointing out that if you're "fed the fuck up" about a runback because you're dying, maybe that's a sign to.. I dunno.. go.. elsewhere?

It's actually the intended design of the game, yet she literally was like "naw fuck that" on recent podcasts. Okay then, be frustrated..

There's literally a bench 2-3 screens away from this boss lol.

Also good lord I cannot imagine being so stubborn as to attempt to do this zone with the core Crest with the diagonal pogo. She really is making it harder than she needs to make it just by being stubborn.

History will remember the day you retire as actual liberation day -- the day that I no longer have to read dumb shit like this from our party leadership.

@schumer.senate.gov go ahead and whip votes. I'm unregistering as a Democrat if you pass a funding bill that will only get thrown in the trash by DOGE.

You know you can just buy Wisdom scrolls from the vendors, right?

PoE1 had the ability to subscribe to a loot filter feed on your account and get automatic updates, I think even across platforms. Looking forward to that coming to 2.

I'd venture to guess the one death gets walked back in favor of some other incentive structure or reward if you DO complete it deathless. I think a bonus for your next map would be cool, for example.

Stick with it regardless, GGG is the best at addressing feedback quickly.

A game that has decades of micro transactions they are already supporting in a forward compatible way across 12 character class models, most small indie studios cannot afford to rig cosmetics across double (or more) body types for each class.
