Been cooking a battle log parser for #playpokemon PTCGLive to share board states but it just seems pointless with how flat-out wrong the battle log can be LOL. I took 6 prizes this turn, but two of the knockouts are recorded twice and one is completely absent from the log

3-0 #playpokemon JTG prerelease! Got the Iono and N kits in my precon, then gutted the Iono cards when I pulled Clefairy. Wild pulls from the prizing with two more packs to crack!

3rd L in R7 to finish 4-3-1 in Vancouver at my first regionals! I think this might lock to t512 and some cp? lol.

2-2-1 which means I made it halfway through day 1 while technically being on day 2 contention so I beat the goal I set for myself!

Most excited for the potential for champions because I think VGC is one of the best competitive video games but the mental load when starting it out is wild

My biggest brain turn vs drag. Lumineon was at 10 hp left so I was going to lose next turn, so I filled my board and attached to a Klefki, Iono'd to 2, found collapsed stadium and discarded the lumineon, then booped dragapult to discard the crystal w/ no energy for them left in deck. Got the W too

3-2 at #playpokemon league cup! 2nd L could’ve been salvaged but happy with my progress since starting in December. Topped it off with hitting Arceus League after the kids got to bed so good Pokémon weekend for me 👍🏽

Annoying things with the #PlayPokemon PTCGL Battle Log as I make a log parser and game state renderer
- no differentiation between two copies of the same card on the bench
- reuse of some keywords to describe actions makes parsing confusing
- if you mulligan your final hand is not outputted :dead:
