I am shocked that so few people are making this point! He writes about cutting off mentorship with female scholars who don't want to sleep with him, while he maintains that women are less represented in STEM because they have less aptitude. It's both intellectually and morally bankrupt.

It's hard for me to believe that the 8 senators who surrendered all just happen to be folks who were either just sworn in or retiring. Seems a lot more plausible that Senate leadership is wanted this to happen and had the safe senators take the fall and give the rest of the centrists cover.

I'd be curious how much of the subscription drop occured immediately after Bezos scuttled the Harris endorsement in a blatantly transparent attempt to curry favor with Trump. And then wrote an editorial brazenly lying about why he did so.

Sotomayor's dissent strongly suggests that we've now reached the point where it is fair advice to tell any Latino citizen in Los Angeles to carry a passport or birth certificate (or picture of one on their phone) at all times with them now, in case they're stopped by DHS or their compatriots.
