Well having read the news, I've been blowing off steam shit posting at Dem Senators. How about you? 😜
March 15, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Yep and given a chance to do SOMETHING about it you chose to appease him like the coward you are.
March 15, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Dem Senators caving in like the cowards they are when given a golden opportunity to fight back
March 15, 2025 at 12:50 AM
Yes! If only there were SOMEONE who could actually fight back against these people and not cave like a complete coward when the moment presents itself.

I think you may be stuck in a tech bubble / echo chamber. True community is stronger in America than anywhere in the world.

Sadly, it seems unrealistic to expect Federal Marshalls would or could enforce court orders in the event legal actions brought against the administration succeed in court.

Public transport availability and utilization. A smaller proportion of the population in these other countries relies on auto transport. Also there's less urban sprawl so they spend less time in cars, traveling at lower speeds.

WW monitoring coverage is spotty in US but even if you believe Hoerger's estimate (I think its low) the AVG is 3.5 ie roughly half of everyone in the US has had covid between 3.5 and 6 times as of March. Most of those infections happened after 2021 so there's a significant part of pop @2+ per year.

Brendan Crabb is the Aussie version of Bob Wachter in the US. He isnt a "minimizer" he's a "justifier". Convincing himself and others that the risks are lower than they are. Bob Wachter unfortunately FAFO.

Immunity to covid is temporary as in only a few months post infection and not sterilizing as in it doesn't prevent reinfection. The Ro of covid remains way higher than 1. If it was 1 everyone you know wouldn't be getting covid 3-4x a year (everyone I know is).

Nice rock
April 26, 2024 at 11:40 PM
Think Ro is between 5 and 6 actually. Where have you seen that it is close to 1?

Didn't see Toyota, Honda, etc on the list; any difference? How do Hybrids compare to CO2 emissions related to EV charging given mix of generation types (gas-fired, coal-fired, etc.)?
